BRUMMIES TALKS CONTINUE
BIRMINGHAM boss Laurence Rogers remains in talks with ‘several’ riders as he looks to complete his team for the new era of racing at Perry Barr.
With the clock ticking towards their first meeting of the season in the KO Cup at Leicester on March 26, the Brummies are still three riders short.
Rogers said: “We’re working hard to sort things out. I can understand everyone wanting news, but we have to stay patient until it gets done.
“I’m in negotiations with several riders, and others have been suggested to us by our contacts.
“It was a blow losing certain guys from last season, but they had to look after themselves as the takeover continued to be worked on. I can’t blame them for that.
“It’s frustrating in many ways but I’m hopeful everything will fall into place soon.”
