PREVIEW: BIRMINGHAM v PLYMOUTH (Champ)

BIRMINGHAM look to climb the Championship table when they host Plymouth at Perry Barr tonight (Wednesday).

The Brummies were boosted by their KO Cup triumph over holders Redcar last week and now return to home league action, facing a Gladiators side led by Bjarne Pedersen who rode for Birmingham in the Elite League in 2012.

Adam Ellis also makes a return to his old club as a guest for injured Plymouth No.1 Jason Crump, having scored heavily at the venue with Scunthorpe a fortnight ago.

Brummies boss Laurence Rogers said: “It was so good to have everyone back together with Erik Riss returning from injury.

“What was really pleasing last Wednesday was the contribution by every rider and we’ll be looking for more of the same.”
