YOUNG STARS BRING IN BINNS

KING’S Lynn have snapped up talented teenage prospect Ollie Binns for his first season of National Development League racing.

The 15-year-old impressed at 250cc level before racing on 500cc machinery in the Young Stars Pride of the East last October, where he scored six points.

Manager Jason Pipe said: “I’m really excited about Ollie making his NDL debut with us this coming season.

“He could have chosen a much easier track to ride in his debut season, but he was happy to accept the challenge of tackling the King’s Lynn track.  

“Ollie will come in at No.7 and be allowed to develop and have no worries on what he scores out on track.

“I just want him to go out and enjoy racing his bike, and there will be one or two riders in the team who will offer Ollie a lot of help and guidance throughout the season.”
