MIDDLESBROUGH collected their second home win of the WSRA National Development League season with a 48-41 victory over Sheffield.

The battle for the aggregate point went down to Heat 15 with the visitors requiring a 5-1 from that race, but home racer Ben Trigger split Nathan Ablitt and Ace Pijper to ensure the hosts took the maximum. T

rigger had previously been unbeaten for Middlesbrough, scoring 14, whilst Ablitt totalled ten for the combined Sheffield/Scunthorpe team.
