PREVIEW: MIDDLESBROUGH v SHEFFIELD (WSRA NDL)

MIDDLESBROUGH host Sheffield in the WSRA National Development League at the ECCO Arena today (Saturday) with start time brought forward to 1pm.

The visitors won by six points when the sides met at Owlerton earlier in the season, whilst the hosts picked up a win in their home opener against Belle Vue.

Sheffield, who operate as a joint team with Scunthorpe, are without the unavailable Luke Harrison and they bring in Dayle Wood to guest.

Middlesbrough heat leader Ben Trigger said: “It’s always the goal to get the aggregate point. We had a good first home meeting against Belle Vue a few weeks ago which bodes well for the match.

“Me and Jake (Mulford) are hitting some good form. I’m aiming to hit some maximums at this level and then carry that form into my Cab Direct Championship meetings.”
