PREVIEW: LEICESTER v STEELERS (WSRA NDL)

LEICESTER Lion Cubs host the Steelers in Sunday’s WSRA National Development League action at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park.

The Lion Cubs are seeking to bounce back from a tough day against Oxford when they only took one point from five available a fortnight ago, and they bring in Sam McGurk to guest for the retired Sonny Springer.

Meanwhile the Steelers are looking for a first away win with Ben Morley guesting for the injured Nathan Ablitt, and with former Leicester riders Vinnie Foord and Mickie Simpson in their middle order.

Lion Cubs manager Jen Crossland said: “It’s going to be a tough meeting, the Steelers have a strong team and we’ve already seen what Ben Morley can do around our track.

“But the boys will be determined to give it their all and hopefully we can enjoy a trouble-free day and get some more points on the board.”
