PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v LEICESTER / MIDDLESBROUGH (WSRA NDL)
KING’S Lynn bring down the curtain on the 2026 season at the Adrian Flux Arena with a WSRA National Development League double header tonight (Wednesday).
The Young Stars take on first Leicester and then Middlesbrough as they look for the positive results which could lift them off the foot of the table.
After a tough campaign, the Young Stars have a stronger team selection with Dan Gilkes making his debut, whilst Ollie Binns makes a welcome return to home action.
With Sam Woods still ruled out, Lynn will give outings to Casper Kluczniak in the first fixture and Dylan Huthwaite in the second.
Leicester bring in Aston Vale to guest for Max Perry who is ruled out on medical grounds, whilst Middlesbrough use rider replacement for the injured Harry Sadler and the unattached Liam Greens comes in at No.3 with their facility for Jade Mudgway having expired.
Young Stars manager Jason Pipe said: “Dan coming into the side makes the team the strongest it’s looked all season. It’s just a pity the season is nearly at a close!
“On Wednesday we aim to try and finish our season on a high with hopefully two wins. Our aim now is to try and win our last three meetings and make sure we climb off the bottom of the current league table.”
