PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v BUXTON (WSRA NDL)

KING’S Lynn and Buxton both have the opportunity to get off the mark in the WSRA National Development League when they meet at the Adrian Flux Arena tonight (Wednesday).

The Young Stars and the Bulls have experienced tough campaigns so far, but at least one will make some progress from the fixture.

King’s Lynn still have injury issues as Seth Norman again steps in for Ollie Binns at reserve, whilst Stene Pijper comes into the top five in place of Kenzie Cossey, and the unattached Kyran Lyden is in for Jack Kingston after a year out of NDL action.

Manager Jason Pipe said: “I’ve been really looking forward to this meeting, as Buxton is one of my previous clubs where I was their team manager in 2015-2017, under the promotion of Jayne and Richard Moss.

“It’s going to be the first time that I’ve been against Buxton since the day I left there in 2017, so it’s going to be a little strange trying to defeat them!

“Laurence Rogers and I have had some good battles between each other over the years and I’m sure he will have his Bulls fired up for this one.

“After the disappointment of losing our first home meeting of the season, hopefully we can leave happy and with a decent lead to take to Buxton.”
