LYDEN BACK FOR ACADEMY
EDINBURGH have announced Kyran Lyden will return for a second season with the club in the WSRA National Development League.
Lyden’s first year with the Monarchs Academy came to an early conclusion due to a shoulder injury, but he is now back to fitness and looking forward to the 2024 campaign.
He said: “I want to start off 2024 like I did last season. Moving up to No.2 was a surprise for myself, but now I know I can do it and I am aiming to get back to that position.
“The injury I had halfway through the season was gutting, and I’m working hard with physio and the gym to prevent that from happening again.
“I am hoping to give the fans something to cheer next year, and I know Scott (Wilson) and John (Campbell) have built a strong team. I’d love to see a full stadium for the NDL meetings!”
