HODDER WINS AT BERWICK

BELLE Vue Colts captain Freddy Hodder won the latest round of the National League Riders Development Series at Berwick on Saturday.

Hodder, who has ridden for the Bandits in the Cab Direct Championship throughout 2024, signed off the Shielfield Park season with a 14-point haul to take the meeting honours one point ahead of former home rider Connor Coles, representing Edinburgh.

Third place went to Middlesbrough’s Jake Mulford following a run-off with Edinburgh’s Mason Watson after both riders finished on 11 points.

Hodder joins Sam Hagon and Joe Thompson as winners of events in the NDL series this year following previous meetings at Poole and Leicester.
