HODDER – BIG YEAR AHEAD

BELLE Vue youngster Freddy Hodder is targeting further progress as he embarks on his biggest season so far.

The 17-year-old will be going into his third year with the Colts in the NDL and has also secured a Championship team place for the first time with Berwick after showing considerable improvement in 2023.

Hodder said: “Belle Vue have been so supportive of me and my ambitions since day one and I’m so happy to be back for another season at the National Speedway Stadium.

“I feel at home at this club. I’ve made a lot of friends and I’ve made a lot of progress, and I feel like with the team that’s being put together for 2024 we have a great shot at the trophy.

“It was a real eye-opener for me to be involved in the likes of the British U-19 and the National Development League Riders Championship last year.

“It’s a whole different level, it’s some of the best guys in the league you’re going up against all in one place, so that was a huge learning curve for me to see how I measure up.”
