CRUNCH NIGHT AT ARMADALE

EDINBURGH are building up to a big WSRA National Development League double header at Armadale on Friday as they look to further enhance their title prospects.

Monarchs Academy have won six out of six so far in 2026 and their next test is Leicester, who are their most likely challengers having suffered only one defeat so far, before the home side also take on Buxton in the second match of the evening.

Manager Scott Wilson said: “What a night we have in store. Not only a double header for fans to enjoy, but the first clash of the two remaining title contenders in this season’s WSRA National Development League.

“It is absolutely crucial we take two wins, and therefore five points as a victory over Buxton would bring with it an aggregate point following our away win earlier in the season.”
