MIDDLESBROUGH collected their first WSRA NDL win of the season as they defeated the Steelers 55-34 at the ECCO Arena.

The Tigers’ opening home match proved to be a good one and their victory would have been even more emphatic but for conceding a 5-0 in Heat 14.

Tom Spencer (11+2) and Ace Pijper (10+1) both hit double figures in strong all-round performance, whilst Luke Harrison scored 10 for a depleted Steelers who were without three of their regular riders.
