2025 NDL/NDT RIDER ELIGIBILITY

THE members of the BSP who are involved in the National Development League competitions met last week, and to encourage more riders to participate in the NDL/NDT they proposed the following:

• Any rider who participated in the NDL in the 2024 season would still be eligible for the 2025 season
• Any rider who previously (prior to the 2024 season) had achieved a 4.00 average in the Championship, and currently has a Championship average of below 6.00, and are not declared in a Championship or Premiership declaration would be eligible for the National League / Trophy in the 2025 season.
• A team can only declare ONE rider who has previously (prior to the 2024 season) achieved above a 4.00 Championship average and currently has a below 6.00 Championship average, and is not declared in a Championship or Premiership declaration.
• A rider declared in a National Development League / Trophy team who prior to the 2024 season has achieved above a 4.00 average in the Championship, and is then declared in a Championship or Premiership declaration in 2025, must be replaced in the National Development League / Trophy team within 28 days of being declared in that Championship/Premiership team. 

The SCB hold their next meeting on December 18 where all the 2025 Regulations need to be approved.
