PREVIEW: SHEFFIELD v KING’S LYNN (Sports Insure Prem)
SHEFFIELD hand debuts to new signings Chris Holder and Claus Vissing in tonight’s (Thursday) Sports Insure Premiership clash with King’s Lynn.
The Tigers need a win at Owlerton to officially confirm their place in the play-offs, and Rising Star Jason Edwards will also make his home debut against the club who released him earlier this season.
The Stars bring in Richie Worrall and Connor Mountain, as well as operating rider replacement, as Nicolai Klindt and Thomas Jorgensen are on the long-term injury list and Emil Breum is also absent.
Tigers boss Simon Stead said: “With Robert Lambert at No.1, King’s Lynn should prove to be a bit more competitive than the previous times we’ve met them this season.
“They’re a side we’ve got a fabulous record against – but that means nothing going into this one.
“Having said that, it’s the sort of meeting that presents us with a good opportunity of being able to boost a bit of confidence, keep that overall momentum going and more importantly, make sure we’re in those play-off places.”
SHEFFIELD: Tobiasz Musielak, Kyle Howarth, Chris Holder, Josh Pickering, Tai Woffinden, Claus Vissing, Jason Edwards.
KING’S LYNN: Robert Lambert, Thomas Jorgensen R/R, Richie Worrall, Connor Mountain, Michael Palm Toft, Simon Lambert, Anders Rowe.
