PREVIEW: PETERBOROUGH v WOLVERHAMPTON (Sports Insure Prem)

PETERBOROUGH host Wolverhampton tonight (Monday) in their penultimate fixture at the East of England Arena.

The Wolves have already qualified for the play-offs in second place in the Sports Insure Premiership, but the Panthers are on a four-match winning run including the incredible drama of last Thursday when their 26-point margin of victory put Leicester out of the top four.

Peterborough are without Artem Laguta who has an ankle injury and Richard Lawson comes in to guest. Meanwhile Vadim Tarasenko moves to No.5 as Chris Harris and Benjamin Basso combine in the middle order.

Panthers boss Rob Lyon said: “I’ve had a bit of a play around with it just to mix it up a bit, I just wanted to tweak it to see how things go with different pairings.

“It’s been great to see how everyone has reacted to the last few weeks and engaged with the team that we have, but it’s also such a shame that it’s coming to an end.

“We’ve had four wins on the bounce with two more matches to come, and we all want to finish off with two more wins.”

Wolves star Ryan Douglas said: “There’s obviously nothing riding on this meeting for us, but we still want to go there and put in a good performance.

“It’s a place we’ve done well at recently but Peterborough have strengthened up and we know they’re trying to finish on a high.”

PETERBOROUGH: Richard Lawson, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Benjamin Basso, Chris Harris, Vadim Tarasenko, Ben Cook, Jordan Jenkins.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Luke Becker, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Zach Cook, Leon Flint.
