PREVIEW: PETERBOROUGH v SHEFFIELD (Sports Insure Prem)
SHEFFIELD look to give their Sports Insure Premiership play-off hopes a boost when they visit Peterborough in tonight’s (Monday) live televised fixture.
The Tigers have lost just one of their last seven league matches although they remain outside the top four with matches in hand.
The Panthers have the incentive of possibly moving off the bottom of the table with a win, whilst the Tigers travel without Tobiasz Musielak after a crash in Poland on Sunday.
Home skipper Chris Harris said: “We had a bit of bad luck at Sheffield, Jordan (Jenkins) blew an engine up and he had some other bike problems, and on the whole to lose by only six was a good score.
“We’re looking forward to the next meeting on Monday, we want to win all our home matches and maybe cause a bit of an upset with some of the teams who are chasing the play-offs.”
Sheffield boss Simon Stead said: “We’re still in a strong position and we’re a good solid team.
“We just need to make sure we stay committed, stay focussed and go into every meeting believing we can win it.
“We’ve got a great group of lads, there’s no doubting that. I just think we need to believe in our capabilities even more, grow in confidence and some wins on the road, starting on Monday, would be a great way of going about that.”

SHEFFIELD: Tobiasz Musielak R/R, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis, Josh Pickering, Tai Woffinden, Lewis Kerr, Dan Gilkes.
