PREVIEW: IPSWICH v WOLVERHAMPTON (SPORTS INSURE PREM)

IPSWICH host Wolverhampton in a clash of two of the Sports Insure Premiership’s top four clubs at Foxhall tonight (Thursday).

The visitors have the opportunity to overhaul Belle Vue at the summit if they avoid defeat in Suffolk, with the aggregate point also available after their 49-41 win at Monmore last week.

Ipswich operate rider replacement for Keynan Rew, who is racing in Poland, whilst Wolves are unchanged from Monday’s thrilling double contest with the Aces.

Witches boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “We go into the meeting against a strong Wolverhampton team who we know like Foxhall, so we know we are going to be in for another tough test.

“There have been some great meetings at Ipswich already this season and some cracking racing, and I think there will be another one this week.

“We need to make sure we make a good start, a lot better than last week and try and get their heads down.”

Wolves manager Peter Adams said: “When I look back at the two meetings we’ve lost at King’s Lynn and Leicester, I rather wish we could go there again now because I think there were points to be had in those that slipped through our fingers.

“To cement our position at, or near, the top we really need to win away somewhere soon; Ipswich is the next fixture on the calendar, so hopefully we can do something there.”

IPSWICH: Jason Doyle, Keynan Rew R/R, Danny King, Ben Barker, Emil Sayfutdinov, Danyon Hume, Joe Thompson.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Zach Cook, Leon Flint.
