BRUMMIES MOVE FOR BRENNAN

BIRMINGHAM have named former British Under-21 Champion Tom Brennan as their first signing since confirming their move up to the top-flight.

The 22-year-old has made the switch to Perry Barr having spent the last three seasons with Belle Vue, although he did make a number of guest appearances for the Brummies in the second tier.

Club CEO Nigel Tolley said: “When you look at the stats, Tom is one of, if not the fastest progressing young British rider since Covid.

“His performances meant he was the first ever Rising Star to move into the main body of a team, and even last season he produced some really big scores as a second string for Belle Vue.

“Tom has been a popular guest for Brummies in recent times and he rides the Perry Barr track very, very well.

“He’s a proper professional, he’s dedicated and committed, and we think he’ll be a great club man to have around the place.”
