UK WASHOUT ON MONDAY

ADVERSE weather on Monday has unfortunately delayed the resumption of the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership after the break for the FIM Speedway of Nations.

Both the televised clash between Ipswich and Belle Vue, and the King’s Lynn v Leicester fixture elsewhere in East Anglia, have been postponed with heavy rain forecast for later in the day.

Revised dates for these meetings, and an update to the TV broadcast schedule, will be issued in due course.

The next televised fixture will be Birmingham v Sheffield at Perry Barr next Monday (July 22).

Meanwhile the scheduled round of the British Youth Championship at Birmingham was also an early victim of the weather.
