SURGERY FOR BRENNAN

IPSWICH star Tom Brennan has had successful surgery on a broken leg sustained over the weekend in America.

Brennan, who helped the Witches to the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership title earlier this month, had made the trip to Industry, California to compete in the World Speedway Invitational.

But disaster struck in practice with a crash which resulted in Brennan being taken to hospital where the injury was confirmed.

A statement from Tom Brennan Racing said: “Tom has successfully undergone surgery for a broken left tibia and fibula, and everything went as planned.

“All focus will now be on recovery over the winter period and preparing for 2026.

“Thank you to everyone at the track for all their help and support, and also to the incredible medical team who have been very accommodating.

“We are now waiting on confirmation on when he can fly home, and will keep you updated of his progress.”
