STRONG START FOR TARASENKO

VADIM Tarasenko is relishing the prospect of making his home debut for King’s Lynn this Thursday.

Tarasenko was the top performer for the Stars in their five-point defeat at Leicester last week, with the sides now set to meet again in Norfolk in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership.

And he marked his first appearance for the club with a brilliant Heat 13 ride, passing home stars Max Fricke and Ryan Douglas to take a sensational race victory.

Tarasenko said: “It was a little bit narrow but I just want to say to the guys, thanks for giving me space on the track, it was really fair.

“We made a good heat and I think it will be on the internet for a long time!

“We practiced on our track but my engine blew on the last bend, so now I need to bring another one and try again, have another practice at King’s Lynn, and I will be ready!”
