POSTPONED: BIRMINGHAM v BELLE VUE (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

THE Easter Monday evening clash between Birmingham and Belle Vue at Perry Barr has been postponed due to a waterlogged track. New date – Monday June 2.

BIRMINGHAM are forced into two changes for their home ROWE Motor Oil Premiership clash with Belle Vue tonight (Monday).

The sides were due to meet at both venues today but the midday fixture in Manchester was an early victim of the weather.

However, the Perry Barr meeting is scheduled for the evening and the Brummies will be without both Matej Zagar and Keynan Rew.

Slovenian star Zagar is absent due to visa issues, with Dan Thompson coming in as guest, whilst rider replacement is in operation for Rew who is ruled out due to food poisoning.

Birmingham boss Chris Adams said: “Keynan has been pretty solid for us so far this season and Matej was really raring to go against his old club.

“There’s nothing at all we can do about Keynan’s food poisoning and the visa situation with Matej is hopefully going to be fast-tracked, so we just sit and wait for that to come through now.

“The rest of the lads are looking forward it though, and it’s going to need them all to be on it.”

Aces manager Mark Lemon said: “We are now well and truly into the season. I feel the boys are getting into a rhythm again. You just want to get some momentum.

“The last two home wins have been solid and that always gives us a good platform when we do go away from home.

“If we can keep doing that and then getting the aggregate points, we will maintain our place as pacesetters in the league table.”

BIRMINGHAM: Tobiasz Musielak, Jonas Jeppesen, Dan Thompson, Keynan Rew R/R, Michael Jepsen Jensen, Antti Vuolas, Jason Edwards.
BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford.

SCB Referee: Chris Gay
