PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v BIRMINGHAM (ROWE MOTOR OIL PREM)

BELLE Vue will look to consolidate their place in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership play-offs when they host bottom club Birmingham in Manchester tonight (Monday).

The Aces held on for a narrow win at Perry Barr last week so there are three league points available for a home win, whilst the Brummies came agonisingly close to success on the road at Oxford on Thursday.

Belle Vue welcome back Dan Bewley from his concussion absence meaning both sides are scheduled to be at full strength for the encounter.

Aces CEO Mark Lemon said: “It’s fantastic to have Dan back and fit again, especially after such a heavy crash.

“We’re going to need all the team to be on guard for this one as Birmingham are a far stronger team with Freddie Lindgren this time around, compared to when they last visited the NSS.

“I was proud of the boys for their efforts in the Midlands last Monday but now that we are back at full strength, I am expecting another big performance at home.”

Brummies manager Sam Ermolenko said: “It’s obviously a totally different track but at least we’re going there with some buoyancy.

“They’re realising there’s some hope now so hopefully we can approach it in the same way we did at Oxford and give it another good shot.”

BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Ben Cook, Brady Kurtz, Antti Vuolas, Jake Mulford.
BIRMINGHAM: Fredrik Lindgren, Wiktor Lampart, Piotr Pawlicki, Zach Cook, Tom Brennan, Michael Palm Toft, Leon Flint.
SCB Referee: Jim McGregor
