PREMIERSHIP MEDIA DAY – MARCH 23
THE 2025 ROWE Motor Oil Premiership Media Day will take place at Oxford Stadium on Sunday March 23.
Following the success of last year’s season launch at Belle Vue, all seven Premiership teams will be taking part at Sandy Lane the day before racing gets underway in the KO Cup.
The event is behind closed doors, with media and invited guests in attendance, but there are still ways in which supporters can get involved in the proceedings.
From 1pm there will be a live streamed press conference hosted by TNT Sports/Discovery presenter Abi Stephens, with three sections involving Premiership captains, newcomers/new signings and top guns.
We will once again be taking the full Premiership photograph involving all riders, whilst the bulk of the day sees the teams (and managers) take part in activities at seven different ‘stations,’ spending half an hour in each.
These range from official photography for use on British Speedway and other media platforms; graphics for TV and streaming coverage; interviews for TNT Sports; the second season of Slide to Survive; and various activities for content to be rolled out on social media during the year ahead.
A new interactive innovation this year is that each team captain will lead an Instagram Live session on the British Speedway Instagram account, with the phone being passed around the team members and supporters being welcome to ask their questions.
The timings for the Instagram Live sessions are: 11.15 King’s Lynn; 11.45 Leicester; 12.15 Birmingham; 14.00 Oxford; 14.30 Belle Vue; 15.00 Sheffield; 15.30 Ipswich
