PREMIERSHIP FIXTURE UPDATE
DUE to recent postponements and the need to re-arrange various fixtures, the following alterations to the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership schedule can now be announced.
There is a change of televised fixture on Monday August 19, which will now see Ipswich host Sheffield at Foxhall.
This ensures the contractual obligation to visit all seven Premiership tracks within the first 12 broadcasts is fulfilled, following a rain-off at Ipswich earlier this month.
An additional TV fixture can now be confirmed for Monday September 2, making up for the meeting lost on July 15. The match between King’s Lynn and Leicester, already scheduled for that date, will now be televised.
As a result of these changes, there are alterations to three other fixtures.
Birmingham will now host King’s Lynn on Monday August 19 and Ipswich on Monday August 26, which is a reversal of the original order of visiting clubs at Perry Barr.
The Ipswich v Belle Vue fixture rained off last month will now take place on Thursday August 22, which was the original date for Sheffield to visit Foxhall.
