LIONS PLAY IT AGAIN WITH SAM

LEICESTER boss Stewart Dickson says the club are pleased to welcome back British Under-21 Champion Sam Hagon as their Rising Star for 2025.

Hagon was part of the Lions team which reached the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership Grand Final having made his debut in May, and he will now get another opportunity at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park.

Dickson said: “We want to give Sam the opportunity to prove himself in this league.

“I believe he’s going to Australia once again this winter which gave him a real boost last year, and hopefully that can have the same effect this time and he can really kick on next season.

“Knowing who the first couple of clubs were likely to pick, we’d already taken the decision that we wanted to retain Sam, and I’m happy to have him on board again.”
