HOLDER & CO RARING TO GO

CHRIS Holder says he and his team-mates are counting down the minutes until they can race on Sheffield shale once again.

The Owlerton outfit have had three home fixtures postponed in the opening month of the season but are set to host King’s Lynn in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership this Thursday (April 18).

And the defending champions have already had some success on the road, collecting a total of four points after winning a Super Heat at Birmingham and then a Heat 15 decider at Leicester.

“Everyone’s chomping at the bit to get back there and get our first meeting run at home,” Holder said.

“We’ve been doing what we can on the road and we’ve been able to pick up a few points thankfully.

“So it might be a lot later than expected, but at least we’re going to be rolling up to Sheffield ready to go.”
