DOYLE MISSES IPSWICH OPENER

IPSWICH star Jason Doyle has been ruled out of the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership season opener against Belle Vue at Foxhall tonight (Thursday).

Doyle was also absent from Wednesday’s media day for personal reasons and is unable to take his place in the meeting.

Ipswich have called up their former captain Scott Nicholls to guest, with the seven-times British Champion having hit double figures in his debut appearance for Birmingham at Oxford last week.
