DEBUT DELIGHT FOR DOYLE
FORMER World Champion Jason Doyle has reflected on a hugely successful debut in Belle Vue colours on Monday.
Doyle, who has joined the Aces as a replacement for long-term injury victim Dan Bewley, raced to a 12-point maximum against Leicester in his first meeting back in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership this year.
His next appearances for the Manchester side will also carry plenty of interest as they face Ipswich home and away next week – the club Doyle helped to the league title last year!
He said: “I’ve really enjoyed my night, and hopefully there’s more to come. I’ll do 100 per cent and make sure I give what the fans what they want.
“That’s me, it’s how I’ve done 20 years of racing in Great Britain, so hopefully the fans can see something special this year and if Dan comes back ready for the Finals then I’ll sit there and cheer us on.
“I’m here as long as I can be. I’m happy to be here, it’s a great track and it’s great people around involved.”
