BRUMMIES BID TO MOVE ON

BIRMINGHAM CEO Nigel Tolley says he remains hopeful about his club’s prospects for 2025 despite the loss of top British talent Tom Brennan.

The Brummies are set for a winter of major team changes as they look to build a side to challenge in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership, with Brennan moving to Ipswich for next year.

Tolley said: “It goes without saying that we’re gutted to be losing Tom. He was absolutely brilliant for the Brummies from start to finish and we were really hoping we could build a side around him for 2025.

“We can only thank Tom for his professionalism throughout 2024 and we know he’s going to be one of the top British riders around for many years to come.

“We now get ready for this week’s AGM which runs Tuesday to Thursday, then we’ll sit down and discuss things as a management team and hopefully we can start announcing riders before the end of this month.

“I can’t say too much at this moment in time, but I remain very hopeful about our side for 2025.”
