BRENNAN: WITCHES HAVE A PLAN

IPSWICH star Tom Brennan is relishing Monday’s visit to former club Belle Vue in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership play-offs.

The sides meet in the first leg of their semi-final at the National Speedway Stadium, with the return at Foxhall 72 hours later.

Brennan rode for the Aces in 2021-23, winning the title with the club in 2022 when they knocked the Witches out in the semi-finals before losing at the same stage to the same opponents one year later.

He said: “Belle Vue is always a lovely place to go, it’s always prepared really well, but that’s obviously why they are so good there!

“We have to be good as well. Belle Vue is definitely a racer’s track, and I think all of our team definitely feel we’re racers.

“We’ll be going there with a plan, and with a goal to win, and to take as many points as possible back.”
