WOLVES TO SUPPORT NHS

WOLVERHAMPTON will launch their season on Monday May 17 with the ‘Thank You NHS’ Trophy.

The Monmore event, which is expected to feature the Wolves regulars ahead of their Premiership campaign, will raise funds for local health services.

Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “I think it’s important that the tremendous, endless work of all NHS staff is acknowledged by us all.

“It’s been such a difficult 13 months or so for everybody, but we are all indebted to the NHS workers and we all owe them a huge amount of gratitude.”
