PREVIEW: WOLVERHAMPTON v SHEFFIELD (Prem)
WOLVERHAMPTON look to maintain their unbeaten home record when they host Sheffield in tonight’s (Monday) Premiership fixture.
The Tigers were the last visiting team to win at Monmore Green when they were successful in last season’s play-off semi-finals, and they race tonight for the first time in three weeks after a strong start to the campaign.
Scott Nicholls again steps in for the injured Luke Becker for the hosts, whilst Sheffield have ex-Wolves man Nick Morris guesting at No.1 with Jack Holder racing in Poland.
They are also without captain Kyle Howarth who aggravated an injury on Friday at Plymouth, and the Tigers will use rider replacement.
Wolves star Rory Schlein said: “Sheffield have got a solid look about them but we also know what we’re capable of, especially at home, so hopefully we can get off to a good start and build from there.”
Tigers reserve Lewis Kerr said: “We’re all just full of confidence, we’re all having fun and I think it’s showing on track,” he said.
“We’ve been brilliant and we just want to keep building on the good start we’ve had.”
WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Scott Nicholls, Zach Cook, Leon Flint.
SHEFFIELD: Nick Morris, David Bellego, Adam Ellis, Kyle Howarth r/r, Tobiasz Musielak, Lewis Kerr, Dan Gilkes.
