PREVIEW: SHEFFIELD v IPSWICH (Prem)

SHEFFIELD return to Owlerton for only their second home meeting of the season when they face Ipswich in the Premiership tonight (Thursday).

The Tigers make a change at reserve with Josh Bates ruled out, and Kyle Bickley comes in as a guest.

The visitors are still without Jason Crump and have brought Nick Morris in to stand in, whilst Danny King races against the side he represented in the second tier in 2019, and reserve Drew Kemp was also part of that squad.

Ipswich boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “Sheffield are a good team and it is a tough place to go, but we are quite capable ourselves if we perform to our abilities.

“We need to build on Monday’s performance and if we do that, I’m sure we will pick up a lot of points.

“We are capable of going well there and we need to go there with the focus of winning, because at some point we are going to have to start winning away meetings if we want to make the play-offs whilst obviously picking up our home form.”

SHEFFIELD: Troy Batchelor, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis, Justin Sedgmen, Jack Holder, James Wright, Kyle Bickley.
IPSWICH: Nick Morris, Paul Starke, Danny King, Jake Allen, Craig Cook, Anders Rowe, Drew Kemp.
