PREVIEW: PETERBOROUGH v SHEFFIELD (Prem)

PETERBOROUGH make another attempt to get off the mark in the Premiership as they face Sheffield at the East of England Arena tonight (Monday).

The defending champions are point-less after five matches so far, and recall Jordan Palin in the Rising Star position at reserve whilst switching their riding order in the top five.

Meanwhile the Tigers, who have won four out of five in the league, hand a debut to Jake Allen who has replaced Stefan Nielsen.

Panthers star Chris Harris said: “We’ll keep bouncing back, and I have confidence in the team. There’s a lot of experience in these riders, and I’m sure they’ll work it out.

“We’ll have to keep working and keep pushing as a team. I had a good one personally last time, but one good meeting doesn’t change everything, so I’ve got to keep pushing myself – and hopefully we’ll be back to winning ways as a team.”

Sheffield boss Simon Stead said: “I’d like us to start building a bit of momentum now – we know Peterborough will be difficult, though.

“They may be going through a real rough patch right now, but speedway can turn around in a heartbeat.

“Results might not have been going their way of late, but Rob Lyon will have his side fired up I’m sure, and we’ll need to be at our best.”

PETERBOROUGH: Michael Palm Toft, Ulrich Ostergaard, Hans Andersen, Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris, Benjamin Basso, Jordan Palin.
SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Craig Cook, Tobiasz Musielak, Kyle Howarth, Adam Ellis, Jake Allen, Connor Mountain.
