PREVIEW: PETERBOROUGH v IPSWICH (Prem)

PETERBOROUGH will attempt to keep the pressure on at the top of the Premiership by completing a double over Ipswich tonight (Monday).

The Panthers are still chasing leaders Wolverhampton and picked up all four points from their trip to Foxhall last week.
Rob Lyon’s side welcome back Bjarne Pedersen after illness, whilst rider-replacement covers for the injured Ulrich Ostergaard and Jack Thomas steps in for collarbone injury victim Jordan Palin.

The Witches are at full strength as they race the final meeting of what has proved to be a disappointing season.

Lyon said: “The play-offs are just around the corner now, but I want my riders to keep taking one meeting at a time and keep putting points on the board.

“We can’t afford to underestimate Ipswich or they could spring a surprise, and that would be a blow to us. We need to keep it going.”

Ipswich manager Ritchie Hawkins said: “We will look forward to going to Peterborough, a great racetrack and everyone will enjoy racing there.

“We have got one more chance to perform and one last opportunity to show what we are capable of.”

PETERBOROUGH: Ulrich Ostergaard R/R, Bjarne Pedersen, Michael Palm Toft, Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris, Jack Thomas, Hans Andersen.
IPSWICH: Danny King, Paul Starke, Jason Crump, Jake Allen, Craig Cook, Anders Rowe, Drew Kemp.
