PREVIEW: PETERBOROUGH v BELLE VUE (Prem)

PETERBOROUGH host Belle Vue as two of the Premiership’s top three meet at the East of England Arena tonight (Monday).

The Aces won on their last visit in late May but the Panthers have since been on an unbeaten streak to take them to the summit.

Ulrich Ostergaard shoots up from reserve to No.1 for the hosts with Chris Harris taking over at reserve, and Belle Vue are at full strength as they look to bounce back from last week’s home defeat to Wolverhampton.

Panthers boss Rob Lyon said; “It looks like it’s going to be a hot evening and hopefully the action on the track will be just as hot.

“The Peterborough fans have been fabulous this season and we would like to reward them with a win against Belle Vue.

“But they’ll be hurting after their defeat by Wolverhampton, so we have to be aware of that. I’m looking forward to a great night of racing.”

Belle Vue manager Mark Lemon said: “We can’t change what happened at home on Thursday, but we can certainly make up for it by replicating our previous successes at Peterborough.

“We have already seen what the boys can do there, and the fact that they have a slightly amended riding order is nothing that will disrupt our game plan.

“Nobody was more disappointed than the boys were with our result against Wolves and it has only served to motivate them to put things right at the East of England Arena.”

PETERBOROUGH: Ulrich Ostergaard, Hans Andersen, Michael Palm Toft, Scott Nicholls, Bjarne Pedersen, Jordan Palin, Chris Harris.
BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Richie Worrall, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Dan Bewley, Tom Brennan, Jye Etheridge.
