PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v WOLVERHAMPTON (Prem)

PREMIERSHIP leaders Wolverhampton have another chance to build the gap when they visit King’s Lynn tonight (Thursday).

Wolves saw their nine-match winning run ended when they were edged out at Peterborough on Monday, but they now race three times before the Panthers are back in action.

The Monmore side were emphatic 58-32 winners on their previous visit to the Adrian Flux Arena – but Stars boss Alex Brady is determined it will be a different outcome on this occasion.

Brady said: “It’s a meeting for our guys to go out and enjoy. The same applies to our brilliant fans, we know Wolverhampton are a great team and we know we aren’t going to make the play-offs, so we can only enjoy the evening.

“They beat us very early in the season, but we’re a different team now and we’ll give it everything we’ve got, I have no doubt about that.”

Wolves star Nick Morris said: “Sam (Masters) had some bike issues on Monday and I’m sure if we go back to Peterborough in the play-offs it will be different.

“Even though we lost there were positives from the night and if we have to face them in the play-offs, we would feel confident.

“We’re just going to keep our feet on the ground and look forward to the play-offs. We’ll be looking for the win at King’s Lynn.”

KING’S LYNN: Richard Lawson, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Broc Nicol, Nick Morris, Luke Becker, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Leon Flint.
