PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v PETERBOROUGH (Prem)
KING’S Lynn look to keep their outside play-off hopes alive when they take on injury-hit Peterborough at the Adrian Flux Arena tonight (Thursday).
The Stars won the reverse fixture at Alwalton last week and can score a maximum of 34 points in the league table, with fourth-placed Sheffield currently on 30.
Lynn are at full strength but the Panthers have further problems with Hans Andersen crashing out at Poole last night, whilst Michael Palm Toft and Ulrich Ostergaard were already confirmed as missing the fixture and Rising Star Jordan Jenkins has also been on the sidelines this week. Simon Lambert has been named as a guest for the visitors.
King’s Lynn boss Alex Brady said: “Peterborough have had a tough year defending their title and I do feel sorry for them as their year feels much like ours last season, and we know how tough that can be.
“But we need to do the business to maintain any hope of the play-offs, no matter how faint they are.
“Confidence is high in the camp again, and I believe if we do our jobs professionally then we will be OK come 9pm!”
KING’S LYNN: Nicolai Klindt, Thomas Jorgensen, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Richard Lawson, Frederik Jakobsen, Jason Edwards.
PETERBOROUGH: Chris Harris, Benjamin Basso, Simon Lambert, James Wright, Michael Palm Toft R/R, Scott Nicholls, Alex Spooner.
