PREVIEW: KING’S LYNN v IPSWICH (Prem)

KING’S Lynn and Ipswich clash in a potentially season-defining local derby in tonight’s (Monday) televised fixture at the Adrian Flux Arena.

The Stars have lost all four home matches so far whilst the Witches are on an overall seven-match losing sequence, although they did win on their previous visit to Norfolk in May.

The home side welcome back Thomas Jorgensen, who missed their last meeting with injury, whilst Scott Nicholls guests for the injured Erik Riss. For Ipswich, Jason Crump has been ruled out and Steve Worrall stands in.

Stars boss Peter Schroeck said: “We are more than capable of doing something against Ipswich, and bringing Scott in as a guest adds to the experience in the team until we get our own boys back. We have to keep going, we still have 14 matches to go.”

Ipswich manager Ritchie Hawkins said: “It’s a must-win, as I said before we are in a dire position for the play-off race so we need to win this and many other meetings for the rest of the season to stand a chance of making it.

“They have lost every meeting at home this year so we need to make it two out of two there, not just for our play-off hopes but because we have both won at each other’s track and we need to be beating King’s Lynn as a minimum requirement for our season.”

KING’S LYNN: Thomas Jorgensen, Scott Nicholls, Cameron Heeps, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Ricky Wells, Connor Mountain.
IPSWICH: Steve Worrall, Anders Rowe, Danny King, Jake Allen, Craig Cook, Drew Kemp, Paul Starke.
