PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v WOLVERHAMPTON (Prem)

BELLE Vue and leaders Wolverhampton are set for a big Bank Holiday double header of Premiership action today (Monday).

Wolves travel to Manchester for a midday start having done the double over the Aces earlier in the season, whilst the televised Monmore return takes place at 8pm.

Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen comes into the Belle Vue side as a replacement for the injured Richie Worrall, and Wolves bring in Richard Lawson to guest for concussion victim Nick Morris in the away meeting before operating rider-replacement in the evening.

Belle Vue boss Mark Lemon said: “Wolverhampton have done us over twice this season and the boys are more than ready to return the favour over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend.

“We are strong at home and we know we are quite capable of producing results at Monmore Green, we just need to make sure we keep the pressure on at every turn.

“This has been one of the closest Premiership seasons I can remember and there is a real belief amongst this team that the league title is within our reach.”

Wolves star Broc Nicol said: “I am looking forward to going back there. I enjoyed my last visit to Belle Vue and felt really comfortable, so I am looking to put some points on the board.

“Hopefully we can have two good meetings to help us seal the deal at the top of the table.”

BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Jye Etheridge, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Tom Brennan, Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Broc Nicol, Richard Lawson (Nick Morris R/R at home), Luke Becker, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Leon Flint.
