PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v KING’S LYNN (Prem)

CRAIG Cook is to make a surprise return to King’s Lynn colours in tonight’s (Monday) Premiership match at Belle Vue.

Cook was axed by the Stars after just two meetings this season but now comes in as a guest for the injured Richard Lawson – who ironically was the man who replaced him in the side.

The Aces are looking to go into the play-offs on a high and bring in Aaron Summers at reserve to replace the unwell Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen.

Belle Vue boss Mark Lemon said: “We can’t afford to take our foot off the gas. The play-offs are imminent, and the competition will be as fierce as it’s ever been.

“We need to keep up the positive momentum that we have generated for ourselves and that means putting in a big performance against King’s Lynn.

“They can still avoid finishing bottom of the table and I would expect they will be battling for every point they can claim from their last few meetings.”

Stars co-promoter Dale Allitt said: “We need to use these next three meetings to give it everything and head into the winter in a good frame of mind after a difficult season. We give it our all.”

BELLE VUE: Dan Bewley, Jye Etheridge, Steve Worrall, Charles Wright, Brady Kurtz, Tom Brennan, Aaron Summers.
KING’S LYNN: Craig Cook, Ben Barker, Erik Riss, Lewis Kerr, Thomas Jorgensen, Connor Mountain, Kasper Andersen.
