PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v KING’S LYNN (Prem)
BELLE Vue will secure a Premiership play-off place if they prevent bottom club King’s Lynn from scoring at the National Speedway Stadium tonight (Monday).
Victory for the Aces will take them out of the range of Ipswich, and also the Stars if the visitors cannot get within six points on the night.
The home side continue to operate rider replacement for the injured Richie Worrall, whilst the visitors have three riders who featured in last week’s British Final.
Belle Vue star Brady Kurtz said: “We can’t underestimate King’s Lynn. They’ve had a rough year, but their team is looking stronger and quite a few of their boys can score big points at our place.
“We can’t rely on other teams to lose points to confirm our push for the play-offs when we know we’ve got the strength-in-depth to score plenty of points for ourselves.
“Monday will be a crucial match for us, and everyone is pumped up and ready to go all-out to push for the top four and to prove that we deserve to be there in the Finals.”
Stars boss Alex Brady said: “We’ll be heading up to Belle Vue not just to get through it, but going with the belief we can get something out of it.
“It’s a brilliant race track, fast, pacey and very much like a Polish track. I know already from social media we will have a good following of Lynn fans so we’ll be doing everything to put on a good show for them, we owe them for their unwavering support they’ve shown us this year.”
