HANS BACK WITH PANTHERS
PETERBOROUGH have confirmed long-serving Danish star Hans Andersen will be back for the 2023 season.
Andersen, who first rode for the club way back in 2003, will be going into his eighth season as part of the Showground set-up, during which time he has been involved in two top-flight title successes.
He comes back for the Panthers on a 4.93 average after they fell from Premiership champions to wooden-spoonists in the space of one year.
Co-promoter Carl Johnson said: “We believe in what Hans can do, we believe in his ability, and we’ve got faith in him.
“If we didn’t have that faith then he wouldn’t be in the team, it’s as simple as that. We wouldn’t bring someone in who we didn’t think was going to be able to do a job for us.
“Hans struggled last season with different things, but towards the end of the season he put in some good scores, and I’m confident he can put at least a point on his average from last year.”
