ELLIS WANTS ANOTHER TITLE

NEW Sheffield signing Adam Ellis is ready to fight for Premiership gold.

The Great Britain star is one of two Tigers newcomers who have come in from Swindon, who won the last top-flight title two years ago but are not racing this summer as they await stadium redevelopment.

Ellis said: “It would be nice to win the league again after winning it in 2019, and with Batch (Troy Batchelor) being there as well I think we can help Sheffield have a good chance.

“Once you’ve gone through that feeling of winning the league, of course you always want to feel it again sooner rather than later.

“Sheffield won the Championship not so long back and a few of the other boys in the team know what it’s like to win things as well.”
