BRENNAN STAYING WITH ACES

BRITISH Under-21 Champion Tom Brennan will be back with Belle Vue as the club’s Rising Star next season.

Brennan enjoyed a successful 2021 campaign and was also part of Great Britain’s FIM Speedway of Nations winning side on his home Premiership track in October, and team boss Mark Lemon says he was an automatic choice to return.

Lemon said: “Bringing Tom back to Belle Vue as our Rising Star was pretty much a no-brainer, and he was equally enthusiastic about coming back to us.

“In the short time he has been in our colours, he has proved himself an extremely capable rider who doesn’t think twice about getting stuck in.

“He is very thorough and professional and has a fantastic attitude towards the rest of the team, and we are very much looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in 2022.”
