BASSO BACK FOR PANTHERS

PETERBOROUGH have made their first team-building announcement for 2023 with the return of popular Danish youngster Benjamin Basso.

The Panthers will be seeking to climb the Premiership table after finishing bottom this year, but Basso was still a big success in his first season at the top level, and he rejoins on an average of 6.81.

And the Alwalton side have also confirmed an extension of their deal with main team sponsors Crendon Timber Engineering.

The Buckinghamshire-based firm have been the club’s title backers since their elevation to the top-flight in 2019.
