ACES MAKE INJURY REPLACEMENT

BELLE Vue have brought in Danish racer Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen on a short-term deal to replace the injured Richie Worrall.

The Dane had a spell with the Aces in 2019 and will return to the Manchester side in Monday’s home and away double against Wolverhampton, as Worrall recovers from a fractured metacarpal.

Manager Mark Lemon said: “We’re delighted to welcome back Nikolaj on a temporary basis while Richie is recovering from the injury to his hand.

“The fact that we are now assured of our spot in the play-offs doesn’t mean we are prepared to take our foot off the gas; if anything, now is the time for us to really step things up.”
