PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v PLYMOUTH (NDL)

MILDENHALL begin their National Development League title defence when they host Plymouth at West Row today (Sunday).

The Fen Tigers have already overcome Plymouth over two legs to reach the KO Cup Final and now look to put points on the board for the first time in 2022.

Former Mildenhall favourite Jordan Jenkins makes a guest appearance for the Centurions as he replaces the injured Dan Gilkes, but the visitors also have a gap at No.2 with Henry Atkins having reportedly left the club.

Mildenhall boss Malcolm Vasey said: “I’m very pleased with how the season has started – we do have a much-changed side since our title win of last year, but they’ve done very well to get us to a Cup Final already, which has done wonders to our confidence. Now let’s get on to the defence of that NDL title!”

MILDENHALL: Ryan Kinsley, Sam Bebee, Jack Kingston, Alex Spooner, Jason Edwards, Josh Warren, Luke Muff.
PLYMOUTH: Jordan Jenkins, TBC, Richard Andrews, Adam Extance, Connor King, Eli Meadows, Ben Trigger.
